Regents International School Residency 05/06. A collaborative project with the music department at Regents International School exploring the production and performance of graphic music scores. Classes were split into house team colours and began by brainstorming associations. Through team teaching the students experienced a variety of music and related scores before embarking upon a series of drawing workshops. From these initial discussions and activities graphic symbols emerged and were used to annotate and compose musical scores. The final compositions were rehearsed, performed and recorded.
