Gathering Bowl

The Mini Gathering Bowl was the first of studio small works, originally used to test out ideas for larger designs. Hand built, inscribed and glazed with vitreous slips and glazes, the bowls gather together favourite motifs and colours. Each bowl form is elevated on a square glazed plinth, perfect for holding collections of precious things. 

The Parquet Lobelia design has been inscribed with a scalpel, washed with a black oxide and hand painted with vitreous slips and glazes in sugar pink, coral, cobalt, gold, leaf green and white. Made by Frances in her Edinburgh studio, every work has its own unique composition and dimensions. All works are stamped with FP and the year of making. 

Not suitable for food.
