The Bud Vase Form Large is a very popular addition to the studio small works collection. Hand built, inscribed and glazed with vitreous slips and glazes, the vessels are a canvas for bold explorations in pattern and colour. Present them as stand alone objects or use them to display a simple arrangement of stems.
The Chevron design has been inscribed with a scalpel, washed with a black oxide and hand painted with vitreous slips and glazes in hot pink, berry, sea glass, and caramel. Made by Frances in her Edinburgh studio, every work has its own unique composition and dimensions. All works are stamped with FP and the year of making.
Suitable for dried flowers only. Each vase comes with a glass insert to allow for live stems to be displayed if desired.
